Biographical Notes on Authors
Elif Suyuk Makakli received her PhD from the Vienna University of Technology, Faculty of Architecture – Inst. Of Architecture and Design- Dept. of Architectural Design and Construction completed her thesis “The Role and Impact of Technology on Architecture from Industrial to Nano Revolution” with Prof. William ALSOP. She worked as an architect at various offices and firms in Istanbul and Vienna. She is working at Işık University Faculty of Architecture and Design, Department of Architecture, as an Associate Professor, where she conducts research in architectural design, design education, and technology and architecture. She has published papers in national and international journals, conference proceedings, and books.
