We’ll be exploring two critical topics:
Drivers of Change in Architectural Education: The panel will discuss the various factors that are driving changes in architectural education, including advancements in technology, globalization, climate change, and social justice movements. We’ll also explore how these changes are affecting the skills and competencies that are required of architects today.
Mobilizing for Reform: While there is a consensus that architectural education needs to evolve to meet the changing demands of the profession, there is a lack of consensus on how to achieve this. The panel will discuss the role of different stakeholders in mobilizing for reform, including governments, professional bodies, academies, and universities. We’ll explore best practices from around the world and discuss how different countries are addressing the challenges of architectural education reform.
