SPACE Studies announces that Assoc Prof Dr Elif Suyuk Makakli (Vice Dean-Faculty of Architecture and Design, Department of Architecture, FMV ISIK University) will be the keynote speaker of SPACE International Conference 2021 on Arts, Design and Architecture.
Assoc Prof Dr Elif S.Makaklı received her Ph.D. at Vienna University of Technology Faculty of Architecture –Inst. of Architecture and Design- Dept. of Architectural Design and Construction and completed her thesis “The Role and Impact of Technology on Architecture from Industrial to Nano Revolution” with Prof. William ALSOP.
She worked as an architect in different offices and firms in İstanbul and Vienna. She is working at Işık University Faculty of Architecture and Design, Department of Architecture as an Assoc.Professor where she is conducting research activities in the areas of architectural design, design education, technology and architecture. She has published papers in national and international journals and conference proceedings, books.
