SPACE Studies announces that it is decided to actualise the February 2021, April 2021 and May 2021 Conferences online due to the recent developments in COVID-19 situation not only in the UK but also all over the world. Especially with the new lockdown in the UK, it is obvious that the conditions of the pandemic is getting worse and there would be no chance of conducting the conferences on site. Regarding the precautions the UK Government has taken till the end of March, the Platform thinks that even if the situation gets better by the end of March, easing the measurements will take time and the participants of SPACE Conferences won’t have enough time to apply for a visa and arrange their trip to the UK.
Additionally, it is stated that 2021 will be a busier year for SPACE Studies in terms academic works it is sustaining and that there is no possibility to postpone the events announced where there are many others waiting to be completed for announced.
